Framery was awarded a Gold Medal sustainability rating in 2026 from Ecovadis, placing us among the top 5% of companies assessed in the past year.
Reduced footprint
Framery is on track to hit its 2030 goal of reducing Scope 3 emissions by 52% per EUR value added after achieving a 20% reduction in 2025 relative to the 2024 base year.
Made with waste – not to waste
We’re committed to optimizing the use of recycled content in our products. We carefully balance this goal with the need for long-lasting performance, ensuring that our pods use as little virgin material as possible while still being built to last.

Our science-based targets & global initiatives
We participate in the UN Global Compact as well as the Science Based Targets initiative and have set emission-reduction targets for our Scope 1 and 2 emissions, aligned with the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C compared to pre-industrial levels. We have also pledged to reduce Scope 3 emissions by 52% per EUR value added by 2030. We are well on track to achieving this goal, achieving a 20% reduction during 2025 relative to our 2024 base year.

Climate and environment
Our climate and environmental policies focus on mitigating climate change, resource scarcity, and biodiversity loss. We believe transitioning to circularity is crucial for the well-being of our profits, people, and planet. To future-proof our business, we are shifting from linear to circular models that respect planetary boundaries. Framery’s sustainability program aims to reduce our climate impact by decarbonizing our offerings, using fewer resources, and increasing the use of fossil-free materials and renewable energy.
Decarbonizing our offering
With 99% of our footprint in the value chain, we’ve pledged to reduce Scope 3 emissions by 52% per EUR value added by 2030. We are well on track, having already achieved a 20% reduction in 2025 relative to our 2024 base year.
Circularity
Framery Subscribed offers flexible, affordable pod renting with a circular approach. When no longer needed, pods are collected, refurbished, and redeployed to new users—extending their lifecycle across multiple lifetimes of service.
Environmental efficiency
We’ve already achieved a 52% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions since our 2024 base year, exceeding our 2030 goal. This was driven by powering our Tampere factory with 100% renewable wind electricity and switching to renewable district heating.

High standards as standards.
FAIR BUSINESS
Fair business
We believe that through our business operations and supply chain, we can play an important role in promoting fair business and labor practices, environmental and social sustainability, and anti-corruption policies. Accordingly, we understand the importance of setting high standards for ourselves and our suppliers. That way, we are building a business that makes the world a better and happier place. Framery’s sustainability program aims to promote fair business in the value chain through supplier engagement and good governance practices, as well as to produce external reports, such as this annual sustainability report, to provide transparency.
Supplier standards
Our Supplier Code of Conduct demands that our suppliers live up to our standards of working conditions, fair business practices, and proper treatment of employees. It prohibits all forms of corruption and anti-competitive behavior. In 2025, 99% of our suppliers by spend had agreed to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, and no code violations were reported.
Product safety
Framery products have undergone comprehensive testing for fire, mechanical, seismic, and electrical safety by several accredited testing laboratories. We provide Health Product Declarations (HPD) for our products, and they are also GREENGUARD Gold certified for healthy indoor air quality and minimal chemical emissions.
Company governance
The governance and management of Framery are based on the Finnish Limited Liability Companies Act as well as its Code of Conduct. Accordingly, the highest decision-making power
is exercised by Framery’s shareholders at the Annual General Meeting. The company’s sustainability work is governed on three levels: the board of directors, the executive team, and the sustainability steering group.
